This year, the festival at beautiful Lake Nokomis, where Monarchs, art and education came together to create a wonderful festival. Our partners for this event, Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board, U of M Monarch Lab, US Forestry Department and the Mexican Consulate all did incredible work to make this event once again the biggest and best festival of its kind in the United States. And a special thank you to everyone who worked so hard on the Monarch Magic! workshops, they were a great addition to this year’s event.
A big thank you to everyone who came out to share the day with us and to those that made the event happen from our exhibitors to the food trucks.
Next year the festival will be Saturday, September 9, 2017, hope to see you there.
