Safety & Block Clubs

NENA partners with many different organizations to provide a unified front to ensure the safety and livability of the Keewaydin, Minnehaha, Morris Park and Wenonah neighborhoods.

Minneapolis Police Department
Our neighborhoods are located within the boundaries of the Minneapolis Police Department’s third sector of the 3rd Precinct.

Our neighborhood’s Crime Prevention Specialist (CPS) is Jennifer Neale. Please contact Jennifer with any safety-related questions – she is a great resource. Contact Info: (612) 673-2839 or jennifer.neale@minneapolismn.gov. CPSs work with neighbors in building a stronger and safer community.

Crime prevention specialists, like Jennifer Neale, assist to organize block and apartment clubs in our community. Jennifer will provide training for volunteers who work with neighbors to deter crime and improve the quality of life on their block or in the building. Volunteers encourage neighbors to know one another, watch out for each other, and report suspicious activity.
