Wow, what a day! A HUGE thank you to all the incredible volunteers who came out to help clean up Nokomis East. Whether you were picking up stray candy wrappers, battling rogue plastic bags, or fishing bottle caps out of the grass, your efforts made a world of difference, and we couldn’t be more grateful!
It’s no secret that our neighborhood looks brighter, greener, and all-around better thanks to you. We know it wasn’t always glamorous work (let’s be honest, some of that litter was pretty gross), but you stuck with it, rolling up your sleeves and making sure our parks and streets are spaces we can all be proud of.
Special shout-out to Nokomis Beach Coffee for fueling the day with their delicious coffee donation! There’s nothing like a fresh cup of coffee to kickstart a productive morning of cleaning up the neighborhood. Thanks to their generosity, we were all powered up and ready to tackle the trash!
We love how events like this bring out the best in our community. Seeing neighbors of all ages coming together with a shared goal of caring for our environment is what makes Nokomis East so special. Plus, we saw some pretty epic teamwork out there—shout-out to everyone who tackled those tricky-to-reach spots!
