Start with the Minneapolis Monarch Festival September 8 with art, dancing, music and make and take activities. Then, enjoy a glass of beer and live music while your kids visit the balloon artist, face painters, and caricature artist at the Lake Nokomis Community School Fundraiser at the Oxendale’s Grocery parking lot. Cap off the weekend with a visit on September 9 to the Nokomis Block Party,hosted by the Nokomis East Business Association. This event is packed with local foods, arts and crafts, music, games, kids activities, raffles, and more.
