A is thrilled to announce the newest addition to our staff. Karla Arredondo joined us as the new Community Organizer on May 25, 2016.
Karla is a lifelong Minneapolis resident and has recently graduated from Augsburg College with a double major in Sociology and Metro Urban Studies. She describes her passion as living within the community and the rich history it has to offer.
Her experience living in Minneapolis combined with her love of research has lead her to conduct several research projects about North Minneapolis that gave a voice to the unheard. She enjoys doing research projects related to social change and community engagement. We’re very excited to have Karla working with the Nokomis East Neighborhood Association. And we look forward to furthering our commitment to the to the residents of Nokomis East though Karla’s work.
