In October, Danielle Isaacson of Morris Park was appointed to fill a recently vacated seat on the Board of Directors. Danielle has been co-chair of the Green Initiatives Committee since 2015 and previously served on the NENA Board.
Danielle has been a Morris Park resident for almost four years, and during this time, she has grown to greatly appreciate the neighborhood, its residents, and its unique attributes.
Danielle said, “My primary hope and goal for NENA is to increase resident awareness and participation in NENA’s programs and committees. NENA has wonderful opportunities for residents to get involved and make meaningful changes in their neighborhood. NENA also provides valuable services to homeowners and renters. I would like to see residents become more engaged, either by taking advantage of NENA programming or by becoming involved as volunteers, committee members, etc.
During my Board term I will continue my role as the Green Initiatives Committee co-chair and as a member of the Giving Garden. Through these two groups I have had the opportunity to meet and engage with residents via projects that are aimed to improve the neighborhood and environment. I have greatly enjoyed my role with these groups and look forward to the community engagement opportunities with both during my Board term. The knowledge and connections I build as a member of the Board will also help me better support and contribute to the Green Initiatives Committee and the Giving Garden.”
We are glad that Danielle has joined the NENA team!
