Cap’s Grille at 5000 Hiawatha Avenue is planning on making some significant upgrades to their business. This open house is an opportunity for residents to look at the proposed plans, ask questions and share any thoughts. Please join Council Member Andrew Johnson (Ward 12) and Nokomis East residents at this meeting, hosted by the NENA Housing, Commercial & Streetscape Committee. Come and be a part of shaping the future development of this site.
From Cap’s Grille: “Good news everyone! We are getting closer, and closer to getting started on a project we’ve been hard at work on for the last two years. We are building a new structure with the highest levels of sustainability, with our goals including solar photovoltaic and passive solar. Most importantly though is what we will be putting in that building, and that is going to be a…….brewhouse! We are morphing into a brewpub! We will be keeping our awesome BBQ and breakfast recipes rolling, so no worries there. Curious? If you have any questions, please come to this open house. We are so stoked, and cannot wait to build an icon structure to eat, drink and be merry in!”
